Iron Golem

The Iron Golem has its roots in the legendary VH140C amplifier known for its 90s death metal and hardcore tones. I removed the tone stack and have kept a faithful recreation of the VH140Cs gain stages. With a single knob to control both volume and gain. I have added an internal tone control set to where my ears think it sounds best. Meant to be ran into a clean amp or used as its own preamp this will turn whatever its in front of into that distinct VH140C distorted tone. Operating on +9/-9 voltages for proper OPAMP operation and keeping it true to the amp that runs on +15/-15. To my ear the reduction of headroom made for a friendlier pedal format. This pedal is only meant to be run on a regular 9V power supply like most common pedals. Use of another power supply can cause malfunction.
